The Dane Gallery was founded in 1996 by glass artist Robert Dane and his wife Jayne Hare Dane. Located on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, in the heart of the historic town, we are proud to be an artist owned gallery. Representing leading artists working in glass, ceramics, basketry and wood, we have established ourselves as one of the premier contemporary art galleries in the country. We offer very personal service to all of our clients. Working closely with art collectors, designers and architects, we help to guide our clients in building private and/or public collections, as well as commissions and site-specific installations.
In August 2012 the Dane Gallery was pleased to sponsor a visit of The Corning Museum of Glass Hot Glass Roadshow to Nantucket. Hot Glass Nantucket 2012 was a fundraising event to benefit the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club. Click on the link to see photos of the event..
