NICK WIRDNAM studied as an artist in England, before settling in Melbourne in 1983. Nick has taught and been involved in the delivery of workshops at the Pilchuck glass school in Seattle, Washington and Nijjima, Japan. He currently lectures in Fine Art at Monash University. Using hot sculpted glass elements in the development of his work, offers opportunities of varied scale with infinite possibilities. Primarily his compositions and elements speak of differences, differences in gesture and scale, differences in physical appearance and colour. These compositions also generate emotions of intimacy, awareness and consciousness to achieve a calm peacefulness and silence. | ![]() | |||||
