Alex Gabriel Bernstein literaly grew up in a family of glass artists so it is no surprise that he decided to pursue the art of glass as his career. He is head of the glass department at the Worcester Center for Crafts in Massachusetts. He has also taught at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Rochester Institute of Technology, The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass and Penland School of Crafts. Alex holds an M.F.A. in glass sculpture from the School for American Crafts at RIT.
